Mumbai:After Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde, the Shiv Sena has now slammed Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. In its mouthpiece ‘Saamna’, the Shiv Sena has backed Shinde’s comment, where he called the Delhi Chief Minister mad, saying Shinde was reflecting the sentiments of the people. The ‘Saamna’ editorial also slammed Kejriwal for criticising Shinde, saying the language used by the Delhi Chief Minister was unacceptable. The editorial has also called Arvind Kejriwal the ‘ringmaster of a circus’.
he editorial also refers to AAP as the new ‘item girl’ of the Indian political landscape. The editorial has also said that AAP’s supporters like Chetan Bhagat are now embarrassed by the party’s antics. Earlier this week, addressing a meeting at Hingoli in Maharashtra, Shinde had said, “When I was in Kherwadi (as a policeman) my leave was cancelled right after my wedding because there were riots. Now because of a ‘yeda mukhyamantri’ (Marathi for ‘mad chief minister’) on dharna, I had to cancel the leaves of policemen”. However, the Home Minister did not name Kejriwal. And he was not alone in this battle. The Nationalist Congress Party’s DP Tripathi had said at a press conference, “Kejriwal has given a new meaning to the word CM. It means ‘chosen madness’.”
